Time series data extracted from crime incidents reported in England and Wales between December 2010 and March 2017.

SPATIAL REFERENCE

• Each time series refers to a cell in a uniform grid partitioning over England and Wales.

• Reference system: OSGB 1936 / British National Grid with coordinates in meters (EPSG:27700)

• Grid coverage area (lower left, upper right corner) : BOX(82500 2500, 672500 667500)

TEMPORAL REFERENCE

• For each month (76 months: December 2010 - March 2017), count incidents having their location within each cell

• Essentially, for each cell create a time series of 76 values (= incident counts per month)

STATISTICS

• Number of cells with at least one incident: 362,215 cells (i.e., points in the resulting timeseries)
